We bought this base station (and formerly the battery) to overcome the "charging error 5" that many of you are familiar with. The new base station solved the problem pretty well, but after 7 months the problem is still as bad as ever. However, to my surprise, I found the price jumped from $39 to $63.99 - a 64% increase in 7 months. I think they call that STRAPING.
