Review on Enhance Your Road Bike's Performance with Micronew SB-R472 Double 2X7 Speed Shifter Brake Levers for Shimano - Black Pair by Brandon Micali

I put this R472 on a Specialized Epic Carbon bike (early 1990's) with Shimano 105 components with down tube derailleurs and what a difference. The hoods are very comfortable and the shifts are very crisp, perhaps partly due to the installation of Shimano Optislick cables instead of the ones supplied. After cleaning and oiling the drivetrain, it feels like a new bike - it's still just a 7-speed rear cassette, but who needs 10 or 11 speeds?
