Review on Hot Max 24172 Single Flint Striker with 5 Replacement Flints: Reliable Fire Starter kit by Chad Cross

I bought this because it looks very similar to the forward I had a few years ago. It doesn't work either, so I'm throwing it away and looking for a better model. The pressure between the flint and the firing pin is not sufficient, so the compression does not always result in a spark. When I try to light the burners on the stove I want the first squeeze to take a hit because I want to get my hand in there and get it out before a lot of gas comes out. I also don't want to breathe a gas that contains some other harmful contaminants besides methane.
