The simplest, no frills, the lightest, forward. Ultra practical.

What can we say about the attacker. This is the simplest, no frills, easy to use and highly customizable drummer. Spare parts are a great bonus and I only used one of these last year because I broke the one that came with it.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Dear

Difficult to use / barely works

I have found that this firing pin does not produce a spark unless you bend your hand to press firmly on the flint. If you don't, it just moves back and forth and does absolutely nothing. It turned out to be completely useless for what I wanted (lighting a propane lamp).

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons

Good sparks! - Stove accessory

We used to have an auto ignition stove but one day the big pot (boiling turkey) boiled over and the igniters shorted out. Well, this device reminds me of what we had in the chemistry lab (HS/FH) to light Bunsen burners. It works great and lasts a lot longer than butane lighters.

Pros
  • Convenient item
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Great building.

Bought to mount on the side of my old Coleman camp stove (no instant start), lights great every time. I attached a small chain to my stove and glued a magnet to the back, now it hangs on the stove and I don't have to worry about it coming loose, much easier to use than a lighter or matches, lights well even in the cold.

It was awful and I sent it back. Stay away

It was terrible and I sent it back. The flint hammer will not really spark, even with a little adjustment. The striker is actually a bit round and it's just a poorly designed device. I shouldn't have expected more for the low price, but at least I assumed it would work. NO. Pay a little more and get the best.

Terrible Terrible Terrible

I couldn't get sparks from a simple grip and easily burned my hand trying to turn and push the buttons. Luckily I found my old one that worked decades ago. Based on other reviews some work great and others are just as bad as mine. It appears that the quality control issue is either with the alignment of the bends or with the force of the spring.

Cons

Unsteady operation due to poor pressure between firing pin and flint.

I bought this because it looks very similar to the forward I had a few years ago. It doesn't work either, so I'm throwing it away and looking for a better model. The pressure between the flint and the firing pin is not sufficient, so the compression does not always result in a spark. When I try to light the burners on the stove I want the first squeeze to take a hit because I want to get my hand in there and get it out before a lot of gas comes out. I also don't want to breathe a gas that…
