Review on Viotek GNV32DBE 32-Inch 2560x1440P Curved Monitor with FreeSync, 165Hz Refresh Rate, and Wall Mount Compatibility by William Wells

Great for the price, but ghosting can be an issue for some

This monitor is very good for its price. This is the cheapest option with such characteristics. Although Viotek advertises a crystal-clear 4ms image, black blurring and some ghosting are noticeable overall. I'm particularly sensitive to these types of issues, and this monitor has a pretty slow pixel response time. However, this has never penalized me, and 99% of the time it looks like the "Ultra Low" option for motion blur is enabled in-game. The image is still fairly sharp, and thanks to the high resolution and large panel size, I can still see the finest details when moving the camera. Colors are much better than my old TN panel, as well as overall brightness and contrast. stand out very well. The menu buttons are clunky, but even if I switched inputs a lot it wouldn't put me off buying this monitor. The stand is absolutely terrible. It takes up a lot of table space and does not inspire confidence. This can be remedied by purchasing a quality monitor mount. Also, violating the "zero dead pixel" policy, my device arrived with exactly one dead pixel. I won't get it back for a pixel as I can only see it on a black screen but that's disappointing. I would buy this monitor again. Even with the halo I am happy with my purchase. This is a big step up from the 24-inch 144Hz TN panel. However, if I ever go back to some fast paced esports games, I'll probably play them on my faster TN pad.
