While these bits/chisels aren't cheap, they are absolutely the best, especially for old, dry wood. I use them on all small frames as I can get the parts exactly where they need to be with a good fit and no tears. The work looks fantastic! Cone drills are interchangeable, which helps reduce costs. I've tried all the other drills/countersinks and found them to be a waste of money. I've got a drawer (sp?) full of them just lying around since I found DeWalt. I keep a lot of spare parts in stock that I rarely need because tools last a long time. The only thing to watch out for is breaking the ends.
