Easy to use, easy to record

I'm writing this from the point of view of a person who is completely unfamiliar with video game recording (which is not very different from regular video recording). Many gamers online recommended the HD60 S to me, so my choice was easy for me. - DIFFERENCES - The main difference between the HD60 and the HD60 S is that the S has the lowest latency between playing on your TV and previewing on your computer. I also got it because it records at your choice of resolution, while the HD60 can hover at one resolution while recording at another. The HD60 S also comes with a USB-C to USB cable instead of a USB to USB cable. - SETUP - Setup was easy and intuitive. It comes with two cables, an HDMI and a USB-C to USB cable. It is clear which cable goes where. Connect the HDMI cable from the game console to the capture device, then connect another HDMI cable from the capture device to the TV, and then connect the USB-C cable from the capture device to the computer. Go online and find the software to install (the link is in the box) and you're done. After installing the software, do some research online to find out what settings work best for your gaming system, or if you know what you're doing you can choose exactly what you want. If you want to edit this, usually record at high settings (1080p) and scale down to what you need. At least that's how I do it. From there you can organize your raw video files and edit them with your favorite editing software. - SUMMARY - Capturing video has come a long way since I started using FireWire years ago (what a headache). This device is the quintessence of simplicity and ease of use. Anyone can easily understand and use this device. highlighted.
