If you want the best of the best, buy it! BUT PLEASE EXPLORE!

BEFORE YOU BUY! First, make sure you have all 3.0 USB ports on your computer. If you don't have it, you'll run into the same problem everyone else has, no signal. You will be disappointed and in the end this is an easy fix. Secondly, if you are a streamer, please do not set the recording to permanent recording as it will delay the transmission. especially if you have a slow connection. Frames will be lost and you will be frustrated. Thirdly, if you only download one program from a website, make

Black screen or no sound, am I the only one?

When the HD 60s is running it looks great. First turn off your PS4, connect everything and then turn on the system. In this short time I managed to get it working, the picture quality was excellent. However, when I tried to use it on my Switch and PS4 Slim, I got nothing. Just a solid black screen. Even when I was able to record the gameplay on my PS4, I had no sound. Searching the web for answers was futile, swapping HDMI cables was futile, contacting el gato was futile as well. I'm not sureโ€ฆ

Doesn't work with built in TV tuner and capture cards

. Can't get it to work, just shows a black screen on my TV and PC. Also the volume works, when I look at the device it's just pitch black and if I mean the device light then flickers out and I mean no bright flickering I mean how it looks like it's dying that's mine third it white makes me angry because i have seen others where they had such a nice bright light like this, glowed for about a second and then just went almost completely out like the battery died or some crap, I had to plug in myโ€ฆ

It crashes every time I use it.

I've been using this capture card to stream on Twitch for a year now and I can't say I'm very happy with it. Above all? The software it is supposed to work with (Game Capture HD) is CRASH. I switched to Streamlabs OBS because the elgato software is unusable. The problem is that in order to work with OBS, you need to download a capture card. Also, the capture card crashes almost every time I use it. It's kinda funny because every time it crashes an Elgato error pops up in my thread and theโ€ฆ

Easy to use, easy to record

I'm writing this from the point of view of a person who is completely unfamiliar with video game recording (which is not very different from regular video recording). Many gamers online recommended the HD60 S to me, so my choice was easy for me. - DIFFERENCES - The main difference between the HD60 and the HD60 S is that the S has the lowest latency between playing on your TV and previewing on your computer. I also got it because it records at your choice of resolution, while the HD60 can hoverโ€ฆ

This and the Avermedia Live Gamer Ultra are close together

I'll just compare the Elgato HD60 S with the Avermedia Live Gamer Ultra. Elgato HD60 SPPros: - The capture card design has great build quality and is also very compact! - Captures my Nintendo Switch's video signal instantly as soon as the system is turned on - Excellent video quality - Frame rate is 60 FPS Cons: - Colors will vary slightly on default settings. You can use the OBS color correction filter to enhance them so that they are easy to fix. - The game recording audio disappears afterโ€ฆ
