It crashes every time I use it.

I've been using this capture card to stream on Twitch for a year now and I can't say I'm very happy with it. Above all? The software it is supposed to work with (Game Capture HD) is CRASH. I switched to Streamlabs OBS because the elgato software is unusable. The problem is that in order to work with OBS, you need to download a capture card. Also, the capture card crashes almost every time I use it. It's kinda funny because every time it crashes an Elgato error pops up in my thread and the thread basically becomes a huge advertisement for how unreliable Elgato HD game capture is. It has now become a joke in my stream, my followers laugh when it happens. Also, to record chat audio from PS4, you need an extra part (cable to connect to the game), which is frankly very annoying. The cable to connect to the game is not very long and has to be connected to the card when streaming, so you have to sit next to the card to use it, which limits your movements. But the main thing is the collapse. I think it shouldn't fall that much, especially considering how much it costs. The purchase was a big expense on my budget so I'm feeling a bit stuck now. Over time I plan to replace it with a better capture card. NOT RECOMMENDED
