Review on ๐Ÿฌ ClosetMaid 8985 Espresso Stackable 3-Shelf Organizer by Michael Tegan

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It was incredibly stunning.

I was finally able to put these black shelves together (I ordered an espresso). They work. They were cheap. I don't know what I expected but I didn't get it. The instructions told me to use letter boards which I didn't have. Both instructions said to use boards with the letter "c" at the top and bottom. One of the boxes was 2d and 2g, one box was 4d, 2 different sizes. I have some pins to nail to the back of a box so I split what I had between both shelves until I get to the store. By hitting the pins in the dead center of the boards, both shelves separated in several places both inside and outside the shelf. I ended up flipping the back panels over and putting the contact paper inside, which I planned based on the layout of the shelves. However, I need to buy more contact paper because all the shelves are only processed on one side. This means when you put them together you end up with an unfinished chipboard. I wouldn't call myself a professional, but I've collected a lot of cheap furniture and this was probably the worst.

Pros
  • Clothes and wardrobe storage
Cons
  • Not bad
