My son is small and skinny, so he needs 2T swimming trunks. Bought them in both 2T/3T and 3T/4T. However the size 2/3 fits him much better as both have a very adjustable waistband they both fit. I kept both pairs so we have a spare. The inside waist has a drawstring for a snug fit. Which is good because they will most likely fall off if they get wet, my boy is so skinny. I wish the adjustment was elastic because it would be easier for toilet breaks. But replacing that with an elasticated drawstring would probably be easy enough. The entire front of the swimsuit is lined, which I really like. We tried so many pairs and many of them were only half front aligned. These are my favorite swim trunks and my kids' favorite swim trunks! Highly recommended.
