The inserts are very easy to assemble. I actually vacuum the floor mats every two weeks and wash them when my car is stationary compared to almost every day before. No problem with liquids even water, soda or hot coffee, hot chocolate if spilled, everything is kept within limits, no spilling, spilling, overflowing or soaking through the liner, all I do is wash it with Soaking up wipes, wiping down with cleaning wipes are fine as long as I don't give them a quick rinse when I wash my car. Crumbs and stains from food or other debris stuck in shoes, especially chewing gum. I used to have a hard time getting them off the carpet before installing the liners. Now all I do is vacuum and wipe down with cleaning/antibacterial wipes and they are fine until I wash them. Again every 15 days when I wash my car. I find them really very practical and useful. I regret not installing it sooner. I would 100% recommend this product to anyone who wants to keep their car interior clean and fresh.
