My cockatiel has enjoyed this brand for years. He eats it without hesitation and that's important to me. After trying some more expensive birdseeds which in some cases my bird wouldn't eat, I reverted to this old version. There is no reason to spend money on more expensive products if your bird refuses to eat them. Yes, I've heard a lot about the inadequacy of a seed diet and that pellets or crumbs are better, but my bird has lived on this food for seventeen years. He likes it and that's it. I have always been satisfied with Hartz products. Always been good bird food.
