I have 5 guinea pigs and they meet the requirements of pigs, although this feed met the nutritional needs of pigs, but the feed was terrible. I have just over a pound of dust at the bottom of the bag which I weighed just to see. It's bad when you have so many mouths to feed.

We have a hamster and this bag not only has tons of black bugs in it, but also so much dust that my daughter was allergic to dust due to an eye infection. I bought this bag in advance so as not to run out of my current one. Needless to say I opened it a few days ago.

My birds didn't like it. I bought this as a filler to add to my regular diet of birdseed. Wild Harvest. I would normally use the Kaytee Fiesta Birdseed. There was dead food in that bird seed. It also had granules. Some birds do not eat mine pellets. I focus on looks and intuition and this product doesn't suit me in any of those ways.

I can tell you it's a good combination of seeds and pieces and the price is great for the amount we get. I can't say anything about the taste as I didn't eat it. However, the hamster dived in and ate. He's still alive, so that says something about the quality, I think. I've also included a photo of the hamster because he's so cute! I will order this meal again anytime I need it.

Obviously I don't try your food but this one looks less appetizing than the others. It's 4# while most are 5# and unfortunately the bottom of the bag was basically bruised/crumpled like a bag of potato chips. I also notice that piglets don't eat it as quickly as other brands. I took a chance with this as other brands were out of stock but I will not be buying this brand again.

We called this crack guinea pig whatever they do in it they love it. However, many years later they changed the formula. There is a very thick piece that he throws out of his cage. I ordered it for my guinea pigs. The item I received from Amazon is different from the one shown here. The bag is similar but light blue in color. The mix in the bag is different than the Hartz guinea pig food I've bought before. The granules are larger. Lots of papaya, pineapple and corn. None of the donut-shaped treats are the same as before. Maybe Hartz changed the product. Please be careful.

My cockatiel has enjoyed this brand for years. He eats it without hesitation and that's important to me. After trying some more expensive birdseeds which in some cases my bird wouldn't eat, I reverted to this old version. There is no reason to spend money on more expensive products if your bird refuses to eat them. I know that all piglets are different, like all animals, but this feed made my piglet very constipated. He hasn't pooped for two full days; I thought he was really sick because he squeaked for no reason during the last part.
