I am not a professional electrician but am preparing for some DIY projects around the house. I bought this multimeter because it looked like a good combination of functionality and value. The kit included two types of probes and a roll of electrical tape. The LCD screen is very large and the numbers are easy to see. The device has very few buttons and has an "Auto" function that recognizes exactly what you are measuring without going into a specific mode. It can measure anything, even the temperature in your house, but I mainly use it to measure current and voltage. The multimeter comes with a protective rubber cover so it is comfortable to hold and not slippery. So far it has worked very well and should last a while. Overall, this is a good multimeter tester with lots of features and a large display. I recommend it.
