Review on KYB 339105 Excel G Gas Strut by Ryan Brunson

Installed on my 2011 Lancer ES. Installation was easy, all mounting points were present. After installation I did a little test drive, everything was fine. All fasteners double checked, everything checked after return. Now the bad part! I drove about 450 km on the Autobahn. About 10 miles from home I noticed a noise coming from the left A pillar as well as feedback from the steering wheel. I parked the car when I got home and decided to check it out in the morning as I was tired from the trip. In the morning, of course, nothing but a massive liquid stain on the concrete and an exploded rack. I didn't have any hard hits on the street. I live on a mountain road that has some twists and turns. Bottom line: stay away from these braces unless you like wasting money and changing braces is your favorite pastime.
