The coaster was stuck in my mailbox on a rainy, foggy evening and the mailbox door stayed open. The box wasn't sealed. The hex key appeared to have been previously taped to the bag, but when I opened the box it was loose. The box was unsealed and was clearly opened. There is a flaw in the finish, but that happens occasionally with this finish. Update (09/03/2020): After several days of use, the device is solid and behaves as advertised. The stain isn't really noticeable unless you already know it's there. I will keep it, not sending it back.
