I bought Large, tag says size 8. I'm 155lbs, am 5ft 5, usually wear a size 6/8 and my size is 36-30 - 40 I followed the sizing chart and it fits fairly well but is a little small at the widest part of the hips - the sizing chart says Large has 37.5" hips and my hips are about 39.5" so fits it exactly. Weightlifting gives me bigger thighs. One size smaller would be too small in the hips and one size larger would be too big in the waist. I like the color of the dress, rich, slightly dark red. Revane's photo of a red item appears more pink or purple than the actual color. The seams at the hips are crumpled even when the dress is laid flat.
