I only had 2 packs of wax. I put them in, but it wasn't enough to reach the minimum line. As the wax melted, I turned off the machine to let it cool. When it has cooled sufficiently to be used, it has solidified. I ordered more wax so I'm hoping that with more wax it will take longer to cure.
