Many years ago you could buy a thin 4 x 6 inch cellulose sponge, about 1/2 inch thick. I've been looking for them ever since, but they don't make them anymore. So I took a bread knife and cut some of those 1" thick 4x6" sponges in half. Like I cut a piece of bread. Cookies cut cleanly and evenly. Now I have 4x6" THIN the sponges are just how I like them. I use my modified fine sponges in the kitchen and for cleaning. Thin sections, easy to wring out with one hand, easier to use and to clean than thicker sponges.Keep dishwasher clean.
