Used to lengthen valves on Conti 700 x 25-32c chambers. The tool provided made it easy to remove the valve and reattach the extensions, and the rubber grommet on the extensions holds the pressure very well (I didn't use tape although I have one). I run tires at around 95psi and can lose 1-2psi in a week. This is exactly what I need for wheels with deeper rims, and it allows me to carry a spare tube with only one valve size (keep a valve tool with a spare tube for road use).
