I'm an old school mechanic (32 years old) I'm a firm believer in a standard carbon column tester, not a manual digital one! It's time to buy your own and they didn't come cheap. So I did a lot of research and for the price it was as good as it gets. Diodes turning on and amps rising during a load test is what I like to see. The only downside, but not a big deal, is that the ammeter is battery operated and needs to be turned on and off every time it's used. But compare the price with other worthwhile devices.
