This is advertised on Revain as compatible with 2008 Audi A4 base. But it's much shorter than the stock unit, and as a result, my hood doesn't open very wide, and it's quite uncomfortable to work in it. I don't know if they sent me the wrong block but it obviously doesn't fit. for my car. If it was the correct device, the manufacturer should update its description to exclude the 2008 A4. Otherwise, it is clearly a quality device. However, I am very disappointed with the landing. For some reason there were 2 of these in the kit.
