Review on Bridgestone Turanza T001 205/60 R16 92V summer by Dorota Lightman ᠌

Overall pretty good, an equal number of pros and cons.

I bought for 7 thousand in May 2022 2 tires on the front axle (size 205/60/16) specially the same size as they were on my minivan before. Tires DO NOT MEET my parameters in terms of size and mass index . but Japanese women had been walking fine before (approximately 7-8 years) and there was a feeling that smaller but strong wheels can be perfectly dispensed with! But having bought a new tire of domestic production, all illusions were dispelled: after a trip to Hong Kong, during which the tire was subjected to severe mechanical wear and temperature changes (from -10 to 25), the tire fell into disrepair this summer! Half of the tread was worn off, the tire became very soft and, to top it all, caught a cut in the tread (it seemed to have torn on stones when turning in place on a dirt road). For myself, I concluded that you need to buy tires that correspond to the size, and most importantly, the mass index and for reinsurance, do not buy 2022-made ones - they put too little safety margin into them. Maybe I just got MARRIAGE.

Pros
  • Wear resistance, handling, sidewall strength of the old model made in japan
Cons
  • Softness, fast erasing, cottony feeling when driving made in 2022
