My new washing machine has a very cheap fill valve. It abruptly opens and closes the inlet of hot and cold water. This action caused my copper water pipes to burst, making it sound like Norm Abram was building a house in my basement. Two of my relatives had a plumber install them, which cost them about $100. If you have a clogged pipe problem, it will be fixed immediately. You don't need a plumber. If you can connect a garden hose to a spigot, so can you. Very easy. Call an installer if the installation site is difficult to access.
