There have been reviews that this tool does not fit GM power steering pumps with cover cut outs. I've used this several times on my 2007 Tahoe and it works great. You have to push and twist until you insert this adapter deep enough into the pump mouth. Also, make sure your MityVac handheld vacuum pump is working properly and can hold a vacuum.
