🔧 Mityvac MVA660 Power Steering Adapter: Unleashing Effortless Steering Precision Review

Product description is terrible. It's not 2 inches wide. Maybe a maximum of 1.5 inches wide, which I've never seen on a power steering pump with such a narrow filler neck. I will think twice and most likely will not order auto parts from Revain again. Now I'm stuck with it. Let me know if you need it.

This works as advertised and does its job well when hooked up to a vacuum pump. This is a quality product and I'm glad I bought it. As others have pointed out, be careful if you intend to use this cone adapter on a Ford. There is another Mityvac tool made specifically for Ford (MVA662).

There have been reviews that this tool does not fit GM power steering pumps with cover cut outs. I've used this several times on my 2007 Tahoe and it works great. You have to push and twist until you insert this adapter deep enough into the pump mouth. Also, make sure your MityVac handheld vacuum pump is working properly and can hold a vacuum.

What I liked about this product is that it was delivered on time and later that week I was able to fix the power steering pump and change the fluid in the reservoir, but the hole in the top of the tank was a little smaller than the tool so i had to sand down part of the end to fit it in there but once i did it worked great great product

Not only did I want it to work, I needed it. I replaced the clutch master cylinder with a Kobalt SS and no matter how hard I tried to bleed by hand it took a lot of time and effort. Commanded this thing to try and cause a mitivak bleed and this thing killed him. The tapered shape makes it very versatile and fits snugly in my brake reservoir. Better than you can imagine.

Doesn't work with Chevy or GM power steering pumps that have nicks on the lip. The grooves include protrusions on the power steering pump reservoir cover. The tabs keep the cap securely attached to the tank. Therefore, before ordering, check the reservoir lip of the servo pump. The rim must be perfectly round, otherwise there will be no vacuum. 3 stars for the easy return from Revain and I don't want to give a bad review as it seems to work on other cars.
