I ordered two of these, one for a Supermicro server board with no audio hardware and one for a 9 year old Foxconn Z68A-S motherboard with no audio hardware Win10. -64 compatible drivers on Foxconn servers. It was strictly plug and chug for both of them. Plug the adapter into a USB 2.0 header (for both my boards), plug speakers into the adapter and you've got sound. The price of entry is worth not risking a commercial driver vendor and risking malware trying to find a driver for your old SoundBlaster board or card. I would buy one again in a heartbeat and probably will.
