No comment on durability as I've only had them for a few weeks and I really don't know how they will hold up in the long term. Expect them to succeed. Went to several brick and mortar stores and couldn't find anything that fit my 13/14 foot size. Took a risk and very happy with the shoes. I agree the laces look weird and will replace them with round or rawhide.
