Review on DROK Frequency Electric Voltmeter Multimeter by Jeremy Bradford

These DROK color meters are great! Can easily control voltage and current at the same time. Because a current transformer is used, you don't have to worry about the sense resistor overheating. They are great for monitoring a plug-in hybrid charger. This allows you to determine exactly how much current is being drawn and what the input voltage is. If the voltage drops, that's a quick sign that your wires are too thin. The accumulated kWh are just an added bonus. I installed 3 of these in my garage, one for a 240VAC charger, one for a 120VAC charger and one for timed Christmas lights. I liked the fact that it uses a current transformer to measure the current. This display flickered a bit. I took it apart and changed the circuitry to stop the flickering. This is not recommended unless you know what you are doing. Considering what you get for the price, it definitely deserves 5 stars. Attached is a picture showing a 3.8 kW plug-in hybrid charging process.
