Review on Prodyne FI 3 Infusion Flavor Pitcher by Mariah Ray

I love the concept of this brew kettle but it has two major flaws that prevent me from giving it a higher rating. "Seal" the spout when removing it. I have to remember to leave a few inches of splashing space on top of the pitcher so I don't spill water on the fridge, floor and/or myself when I take it out. The lid does not unscrew, allowing you to pour water directly onto the infusion ingredients when filling the jar - the preferred method of extracting the aroma. Instead, the infusion hose is screwed into the base of the lid and must either be dipped into an already full pot of water or held at an angle when filling the pot so that the water at least hits the infusion ingredients when it is filled. .
