I have used many Milwaukee tools in the past and have always been very happy with their quality. No more than this Magnum Hole Milwaukee 0234-6 Magnum 5.5 Amp 1/2-Inch Drill Bit. Excellent material! Cable drills MUST be made. I've done enough sharp angle drilling (electrical and plumbing) to realize that it takes the right tool for the right job (RTRJ, as my brother's father-in-law always says). While I've used Milwaukee angle drills (and you can't miss them for their sheer power), I really don't need a day-to-day to justify an expensive disposable angle drill. . After my trusty old Bosch 1005VSRK 5.5 amp 3/8" drill bit broke, I also started looking for a straight wire drill bit on the market. Not wanting to spend a lot on a specialty tool and looking for the flexibility of a convertible drill, I found the perfect solution in the Milwaukee 48-06-2871 Angle Drive Bit for Milwaukee 0234-6 and 0244-1 drills only. This square drive accepts two power drills: the Milwaukee 0234-6 Magnum 5.5 Amp 1/2" 850 RPM Drill or the Milwaukee 0244-1 Magnum 5.5 Amp 1/2" Single Speed Drill of 600 rpm. Yes, on paper 5.5 amps isn't the same as 7 amps in Milwaukee angle drills, but I have to say I found it unstoppable! This right angle drive is EXACTLY the same head/angle block used on all specialty angle drills. All you have to do is put it on another drill/power supply. And best of all, it can be used as a regular drill bit or in 3 minutes install/remove the angle drive and you're ready to drill tons of holes in any number of hard-to-reach places! As Milwaukee's reputation attests, both the drill bit and angle drive are solidly built and have a nice feel. I would highly recommend this drill to anyone and (unless you are a dealer) would suggest saving the $100 and giving yourself extra flexibility and buying a drill and right angle drive to meet any drilling needs you may have you may have.
