I haven't seen a non-SATA hard drive in retail for about ten years? Nothing on this page says the drive's interface isn't 100% what consumers expect. Sloppy marketing and now my project lost a week waiting for the wrong type of disc to arrive. By the way, if you get one of these, be very careful when using it. The difference in the connector is deceptively subtle. SATA connectors have two separate sets of pins, while the SAS connector on this drive looks almost identical, but connects two sets of pins and can damage some SATA connectors if you press too hard.
