My laptop is connected to a monitor, allowing me to set up two monitors, and I was having difficulty adjusting the laptop screen to the same height as the monitor. I use a wireless keyboard so I didn't need a laptop keyboard and the standard stand takes up too much space on my desk and doesn't allow my laptop screen to be at the correct height. This stand works great as the laptop is held upright. I used a bungee cord for extra security because I have a cat and didn't want to worry about her knocking it over. It's well balanced and doesn't wobble at all. This is exactly what I needed!
