After thorough cleaning before use in the swamp, I noticed a haze in the aquarium after about 3-4 days. Then it turned into a blizzard. I tested everything and my LFS checked everything and everything was fine. I disassembled everything I could (pumps, skimmers, etc.) and found white "goo" in my pumps and heads. When I looked closely, it was sock fibers. since I switched to filter cups, there have been no more thunderstorms. These socks are cheaply made and will ruin everything in your sump and tank.
