A solution but difficult to install; Not Revain's fault
Worked great on my wife's 1996 Rav4 when her brake lights stayed on and her battery died overnight. These little parts are $6 for two and my wife's 25 year old car will last a few more years. I had a hard time attaching these pieces because I'm 6ft 2" tall and overweight. I had to twist my torso and move up off the floorboard where the brake pedal connects to the firewall. Maybe I should have given this job to my skinny nephew. Not Amazon's fault.
