So, the first day the car lasted around 30 minutes. It was a birthday gift for my 7 year old son and he loved it. The second day the battery only lasted 10 minutes and the third day it lasted 5! Today is the third day. so we aren't happy customers. It would be such an awesome car if the battery lasted longer. Which is the only reason for the low stars. It would come with 2 batteries or at least a better one! Would not recommend this toy at all. Its a big let down.

Not really sure about durability because we just got the cars today. However, one of the remotes arrived with a cracked antena. It still worked but not sure if it would be a problem down the road so I requested an exchange.One of the things we notice is that the remote is interchangeable between the cars. First car did not work so I returned it without issue and another one was sent. That one worked for all of a day and then stopped. My grandson was disappointed. We brought one for my grand daughter as well and it works fine.

Purchased for 6yr old birthday.Very durable! Great for all surfaces, dirt and water included! Easy clean off and charge. Battery last about 25min. Highly recommended for all ages but great for rough play time!

The machine itself is of good quality and works well. The big downside is there is no external way to charge the battery. The battery compartment must be opened and the battery disconnected, which requires removal of a tiny screw using a supplied but easy to lose screwdriver, the screw is captive. The company reached out and offered us a brand new car or our money back (car please-said the 10- year old recipient!). This is amazing and made our pandemic day!

Car is great! My son loves it but it has a short battery life. Wish you could order a second battery as an option. Gets stuck in everything..

Its fun but charge it longer than it asks for. It ran down quick. Also for a toy that goes in the water the remote goes out if it gets even a small amount of water on it. So maybe try a bag or water proof tape or something. But still was fun. Would have played with it longer if it has lasted.

My nephew wanted this for his birthday. It turned out to be quite fun to drive - we took it down to the beach and it easily made its way over sand, small logs, small rocks, grass, and the waves of Puget Sound.

this is a great car and goes anywhere. The only reason we gave it four stars is because to charge it you have to use a screwdriver to remove a plate to access the charging port: kind of a bother. Otherwise, it's fantastic. Also: advertised as a great gift for 'boys' but we got this for our 8 year old GIRL and she LOVES it! :)

I just bought for my 5 year old grandson (description says ages 5-12), but the box says 8+ (and the item info says ages 36+, lol!). We haven't used it yet, but I sure hope my 5 year old can operate it on his own! If he does, I will consider giving it more stars. Looks like super fun toy. This thing is amazing! It flies across the deck, jumps in the pool and powers it's way on the water. It climbs over the floating rafts and skids up the steps! The kids can't stop running it all over. They love it!
