For removing sealant from around a pan. Worked well but left weird black marks on porcelain. Now any metal tool will leave gray stains on pottery and china, but that's easy to remove with a little bartender's friend, but those black streaks were nearly impossible to remove! I had to polish them with a heavy duty sponge on a power drill for an hour. I almost blew the nail polish off the bathtub! Turns out these scrapers are coated with a thin layer of urethane to give them a shiny look. When a tool is used, this urethane burns out and becomes embedded in the porcelain glaze. What a nightmare. So unnecessary.
