I have a 1.8m Displayport male to HDMI male dual -Tone cable for my new ThinkPad T410 (2522W7N) bought from NVIDIA NVS 3100M hoping to get a universal video and audio cable to connect to my TV (Panasonic TC-L32X2, 32 inch 720p HD LCD TV with iPod -Dock). However, when I got the cable, I was only able to get the video to work. After much frustration trying to determine if my computer or cable is faulty, I saw several forums that suggested I try a different cable. I got this cable which worked great. As other reviewers have pointed out, make sure your computer/DisplayPort actually supports sending audio through the port, and make sure you set the default audio device to your TV (or TV) via the Sound Control Panel in Windows another device connected with a cable) as soon as you connect your device.
