Finches in my company prefer these pellets to millet. I give them more often. It has a lovely pleasantly fruity smell and if your birds are as picky as mine this is a great way to ensure they are getting all the nutrients they need from their feed. My finches first pick out all the green grains, then the yellow ones, then the orange ones, finally the red ones, not realizing that they all taste the same. This gives them the feeling of foraging for food and picking their favourites. They also have (slightly) less clutter as the empty seed pods aren't strewn all over the place, although my birds do throw pellets on the ground occasionally. Overall a great product.
