This product has good and bad reviews. I am very happy with it. I ordered a Dyson hair dryer which is very very expensive and I didn't really like it. Not only is it overpriced, it just didn't appeal to me for the money, and I wanted something more compact. I returned it and got this hair dryer instead and I'm glad I did! I found it at Revain and really liked that it's powerful yet very compact. You can see from my photos that the cord is very thick and flexible and you can easily wrap it around the handle. Then just twist the handle to the closed position and it will hold the power cord in place. I love this part of the design. It stores easily in my small bathroom and is great for traveling. When folded, it's 12 inches long and 4 inches wide, so pretty compact. You can see it in my photos. One reviewer said this is a very heavy hair dryer. On the contrary, in my opinion it is quite simple. I'm surprised at how light it is, just over a pound (1lb 4oz on my kitchen scale). My hand doesn't get tired at all when I use it because it's so light. Another reviewer said it smelled like burnt plastic. I have the opposite again. When I first turned it on, there was absolutely no smell of plastic, and it never smelled like burnt plastic. The heating temperature is also ideal. Another reviewer said the hottest was too hot. I think quite the opposite, it's perfect when it's hot and I've never burned my scalp on the highest settings. Temperature, speed, power and cold shot buttons are perfectly placed. Another reviewer complained about this. I think the key layout is perfect. The buttons don't protrude, which is part of the streamlined design of this hair dryer. Accidental switching of the temperature or speed control is not possible during blow-drying. I find the key arrangement quite comfortable and well thought out. Many hair dryers are big and plump, but this design is so streamlined and narrow. That's another thing I really like about this hair dryer. The overall design is perfect and so modern! I love the magnetic attachment that comes with this hair dryer. It's simple and effective, and the magnet works great! I wish it had a magnetic diffuser for curly hair so hopefully the manufacturer will provide that or at least be able to recommend a brand/model that works. Unfortunately, the universal diffuser I have doesn't work with this hair dryer. With the discount they are giving Revain on this product, I think it's worth $100. Definitely a 5 star product and the best hair dryer I have ever had!
