Kind of get what you pay for.

First of all I was very happy to find this offer on the internet. I was satisfied with the price and the features and bought it as soon as possible. Got the first one sent to me which took a week. But with everything that happens, I understand. Insignificant. I installed the first one which was pretty easy and inexpensive and lo and behold it didn't work. First, the image on the screen was upside down. It then turned into black and white fuzz and eventually just stopped working. Revain returned and sent back. Decided to get the same one again as the upside down image seemed pretty good quality to me when I saw what I was actually seeing. Received another one a week later. Installed and everything was fine. Seemed to work great and was very happy that the screen was showing correctly. This is where I started to get a little frustrated. The volume is... well, annoying. Let me try to explain. With the volume set to 1, it's too loud to be what I would call "background noise". This means that with this radio you can either listen and enjoy the music or turn off the sound and talk. There is no "talk while playing background music" setting. Volume 1 is literally too loud to speak without raising your voice. And if you turn on the "volume" setting (which you absolutely should), it's even worse. Another annoying feature is that you can't display the time on the LED. No screen but a small display that sits under the screen. If you connected it via Bluetooth, it just says "BT". There are no other options. Not as important as volume, but annoying. When using the Bluetooth feature to stream music, the forward and back buttons work normally. I can go back and forth to play songs again if I want. However, the pause button does not work to pause the music. This means that to pause music from your phone via Bluetooth, you have to fiddle with the phone and pause it there, rather than using the front panel button. Remember, I'm talking about a physical button on the front, not a touchscreen. I usually have the screen closed unless I'm watching a movie, so I haven't tested this button yet. The play/pause button on the front panel should work though, right? No, apparently not. This thing's microphone picks up the person who's speaking to you on the phone. A lot of. You can literally hear each other in stereo through your microphone when using the speakerphone. What annoys her. Today I had to plug in my headphones and turn off the Bluetooth radio just to speak. Being able to talk hands-free without having headphones in the truck all the time was one of my must-have features. Finally, if someone calls you again, the LEDs on the front will not work for you. Want to know who's calling? Better take your phone and have a look because the LEDs won't tell you anything at all. I assume the screen shows you who's calling when it's open. While you downloaded your phone book to your stereo. I would at least hope so. I think I could check it out. Would I buy this radio again? no I'd rather save a little more money and buy something that isn't as annoying. Are these deal-breaker problems for everyone? Probably no. To me? E yes, something like that. I'm going to download some movies onto a USB drive and see if they play through the USB port. I'm assuming that's not the case and that I'm limited to DVD-Video playback only. If they play .mp4 or other video files, I'll be pleasantly surprised. Which would be nice given all the frustrations since I ordered this device.
