Review on PAC RP4-VW11 Radiopro4 Stereo Replacement Interface for Select VW Vehicles with Canbus, Including Steering Wheel Controls by John Ortiz

Note for Sony XAV-AX100 users: You need to set the Preset knob to 7 instead of 8 for this to work with the Sony XAV-AX100 main unit. Once you set it to 7, you'll need to use the custom steering wheel control option in the Sony head unit itself. I had to call PAC support to find out and they told me that the XAV-AX100 and XAV-AX200 are slightly different and should be installed that way. ------ This Pac device is very easy to connect and use. It comes with clear instructions that are easy to understand and very detailed. I'm connecting a star because the first PAC I received was faulty and wouldn't turn on my main unit. After replacing the controller unit, the head unit started without any problems. I ran into a configuration issue because my head unit seems to be particularly weird accepting the SWC configuration, but I was able to resolve this over the phone with their tech support, which was pretty awesome. It comes with a main seat belt, steering wheel harness and blue control box. Recommend to anyone who wants to easily retain steering wheel control with an aftermarket head unit!
