I moved into a new rented house with wood grain laminate floors. My sofa would slide onto my foot every time my kids sat (jumped) on it. I've tried some "non-slip" rubber things from Walmart or Home Depot, but they didn't stop the couch from slipping in any way. After reviewing a few items on Revain, I settled on this one. Several people have advised me to put the sticky side on a piece of furniture, but I have not done it. I put the sticky side on the bottom and it worked REALLY well! Actually it was phenomenal. The sofa didn't move at all! Again, I didn't stick the adhesive side to the underside of the sofa legs, but to the floor itself. I'll admit if you're rearranging your furniture a bit I wouldn't recommend it, but if like me you want your room to be "permanent" set up, this method was perfect! I even put something under my chair so it doesn't slide every time I sit on it or recline it!
