The wrapping covered my generator's flexible exhaust pipe and it seems to be working well, but I didn't realize that when I wrapped the pipe I was covered in tiny bits of fiberglass which made me itchy and felt like this after several days of using needles would have been sheathed. I had to throw away the shirt I was wearing. The instructions say to wet the packaging first, but because flexible tubing is so prone to rusting, I skipped that step. To your discomfort!
