A week after I disassembled and reassembled my iMac (hard drive replaced) the screen just fell off. I followed all the instructions, spent a day peeling all the old glue off the computer and screen and it just fell off. After examining the tape after the fact, it's clear that it doesn't have the same amount of adhesive on both sides - it doesn't peel off the computer, but easily peels off the screen around the entire perimeter. So of course I don't recommend it at all. However, if you need to climb into your iMac for repairs, the tools that come with them are very helpful, as is OWC's video. But glue is nonsense. I'm going to use Gorilla Tape to attach the replacement screen I have to buy now to #$^& with the aesthetic and crap they sell it.
