Review on Philips S5100 Series 5000 Electric Razor by Toyofuku Hideo ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Overall good, but I expected more, there are disadvantages.

Compare with Panasonic ES-GA21. The assembly is of poorer quality, there is play when the handle is squeezed, the feeling is flimsy, the plastic feels thin. Panas' assembly is definitely better. Shaving. In my opinion, she lacks speed, if there were 2 times more speed, she would shave better. Panas is inferior in cleanliness of shaving, in convenience too, because. Panas has a narrow head, but here it is very wide, it is not convenient to shave when you need to carefully along the edge. IMHO a head with 2 knives would be narrower and more convenient. Separately, I note the trimmer, in order to use it, you need to pull out the main block with knives and fasten the trimmer. So-so convenience, in Panas you just pull out the trimmer and use it. How long will the head live, when you constantly pull it out xs, the mount looks very flimsy, and you still have to get into the grooves, i. E. it's not just negligently quickly unhooked / attached. In general, an average razor, back to Panas.

Pros
  • 1. Convenient to clean
Cons
  • 1. Flimsy construction 2. Little RPM 3. Not a comfortable trimmer 4. Not comfortable to shave
