They are great for beginners and other artists to paint with watercolor, acrylic and oil. absorb a TON of your magical white base coat and it tends to dry too quickly. I think stretched canvases work better with a double primer for this. but since I have a lot of these I just apply an extra thick layer of Magical White Base Coat to even out the absorption. In my opinion, this is a good size for the job. . (10"x14") You can finish the painting pretty quickly, but they are not as small as the thumbnails. Because it is a standard frame size, framing your finest artwork is quick and easy.
