They are great for beginners and other artists to paint with watercolor, acrylic and oil. absorb a TON of your magical white base coat and it tends to dry too quickly. I think stretched canvases work better with a double primer for this. but since I have a lot of these I just apply an extra thick layer of Magical White Base Coat to even out the absorption. This is my choice for canvases for my small business. I probably bought 20 packs of 48 but lately they have so many stains and some of the edges are crooked that I can't use them. I had a review in my store saying it looked like it was from a dollar store, that's a really bad review because I know it doesn't look like it from there.
