A really good product, especially for the price. The fan is very quiet and has an economy mode in which the fan only turns on under load. I disabled Eco mode and it's still a lot quieter than the EVGA power supply that was on my pre-built computer. Now the computer sounds much quieter. I thought it was my case fans making noise, but I think it was my old PSU fan. It is a semi-modular device, which means that all cables except for the 24-pin connector to the mainboard are modular. You only need to add what you need for your computer. Speaking of cables, this one comes with more cables than you'll ever need for most computers and enough slots on the power supply to power them. Installed easily, no problem. I was so impressed that I ordered another 650W GQ PSU for another computer even though I didn't really need it. For an 80 Plus Gold rated power supply, you can't beat the price and quality. The packaging is also very pretty. Comes with instructions, foam to secure and protect the PSU in the box, and velcro cable ties to wrap the cables, which you can also use to manage the cables in your case. I believe there are 4 Velcro straps. I highly recommend this power supply. There are also fully modular versions of EVGA. This semi-modular version gives you almost the same features as the fully modular version, but at a lower cost. For me it was perfect. Add a 5-year warranty as the icing on the cake.
